Oliver visited Dr. Greenburg today for his two month check up. In addition to getting his first set of immunizations he was weighed and measured. Oliver is 26" long and tipped the scale at 13 pounds - gaining four pounds over the past month! To put this into perspective, Charlotte and Jacob weren't 13 pounds until they were six months old!!!! I shutter to think where Oliver will end up at six months!
There is no question Oliver is eating well and enjoying his food! He seems to be into a groove with his feeds now. On average he will eat 3-4 oz every 3 or 4 hours during the day. I just follow his lead on when he's hungry. The past three nights he has been going 6 or 7 hours between feeds. At the moment he wins the "best sleeper" prize in our house. Charlotte and Jacob could learn a thing or two about sleeping from their LITTLE brother.
Oliver has also really found his voice and smile in the past few days - I'm still trying to capture one of his "chats" on video he seems a bit camera shy because whenever I pull it out he stops chatting and smiling and turns all serious...here's hoping I'll capture it soon because it really is quite cute!
